welcome to the 2018 Mark Fulton 8,000 Meter Challenge!
The 8000 M Challenge was started 23 years ago by Mark Fulton, a sales representative of JanSport. Growing over the years from a small group of friends to a full-blown industry event with many retail and corporate teams involved, the 8000 M Challenge has continued to expand to include new participants each year.
Big City Mountaineers is proud to be the nonprofit partner for the Mark Fulton 8,000 Meter Challenge. In 2017, the event raised $22,000 to support the transformative wilderness mentoring experiences BCM provides for under-resourced youth. As we gear up for 2018, we are thrilled to work with you to make this the most epic 8000 M Challenge yet!

Big City Mountaineers utilizes an online fundraising campaign platform called Classy. To register your team to fundraise for BCM through the Mark Fulton 8,000 Meter Challenge, click on the button below. You will be prompted to either JOIN an existing team, or CREATE a new team. The first person to register for a given team needs to create their team page; all subsequent members of that team who register will simply join that team.
