Name: Wanda I. Gonzalez
Hometown: Cambridge, MA
Occupation: Pediatrician
BCM trips: 4

"For me the best part of the BCM experience is getting to meet a great group of women and girls and making new friendships. Plus a week in the wilderness is always welcome. There's also the "high" I get from the good feelings overflowing on days 7 and 8. For the girls, I think its the bonding experience of working through something hard together."

Laura Young

Name: Laura Young
Hometown: Ogunquit, ME
Occupation: Product Line Coordinator for Timberland
BCM trips: 1

"The girls' energy, enthusiasm, and great trail songs were by far the highlight of my trip. Being able to watch these girls go from never carrying a pack to climbing a 4832-foot mountain (very big by New England standards)-and never stop singing-was amazing! Through the ups and the downs, these girls supported each other by never giving up and proving that they could do anything they put their minds to! I wish someone had taught me that when I was 13!"
