Thanks to a generous Youth Challenge Grant from our friends at Positive Tracks, all fundraising from SFS participants ages 23 and under will be matched dollar-for-dollar.
Positive Tracks is a sports-based youth development organization that helps young people get active and give back. So youth can sweat for good to make the world better, starting with themselves.
Positive Tracks engages young people ages 23 and under through their Charity Partner Program, Positive Tracks Challenges and Camps, and thought leadership initiatives. By the end of 2016, Positive Tracks will help 42,000+ youth turn 244,000+ miles of movement into $7,800,000+ for causes that shape their communities and world.
I’m 23 or under. What should I say on my fundraising page?
I’ve taken on a challenge for Big City Mountaineers and will be climbing [mountain name or enter what type of fundraiser you are doing]. The funds I raise will help support BCM’s mission of getting urban youth outdoors.
The best news is: Positive Tracks has awarded BCM a matching youth challenge grant that double dollars that I raise. Through my effort, I hope to raise [number of dollars] and valuable awareness for BCM. It feels great to be making a difference for charity using my own sweat, and I’d appreciate your help and support. Please visit BCM’s website to learn more. Please make a donation to my effort, and remember that every dollar you donate will be doubled for BCM by Positive Tracks. THANK YOU for helping me and being a part of this!
What if I’m over 23?
