Change a Life
Big City Mountaineers programs change lives by changing perspectives. But we can’t do it alone.
In 2011, Big City Mountaineers will serve over 600 under-resourced youth in Denver, Portland, Minneapolis, Chicago, and the San Francisco Bay Area completing an estimated 3,300 program days. The Change a Life campaign is designed to get our adult mentors more involved, and help us raise additional funds for our youth.
In the last five years, the Change a Life campaign has brought in over $74,000, allowing us to keep our costs minimal to our partner agencies. This means teens can attend BCM expeditions for FREE and Youth Agencies typically pay only $100 to enroll with us!
If every volunteer raises $100 this summer we will bring in $40,000 . That means 600 more nights under the stars.
